OUR EVE IS GONE..

Post by Helen » January 24th, 2012, 11:27 am

Wanted to let you all know that our Eve passed away. I know we will all miss her greatly. I received the following e-mail from her brother John this morning. Thank God her pain is over. Love, Helen

Hi Helen,

I have to advise you that Eve passed away peacefully this morning at St John of God Hospital in Geraldton Western Australia.(24th January 2012)
It is sad for me to tell you this news, but considering the many times that she has been back and forward to Hospital I think it is a blessing that she will be in no more pain.
She was adamant that she did not want to go into a nursing home, so I guess from that point of view it is good.

Regards,

John

Helen thank you for letting us know. Eve has been through so much in the past couple of years it is a blessing really but still hard to accept. Please give John my condolences if you write to him. Take care of yourself Helen....

Very sad news indeed. What a remarkable lady Eve was. She was one of many that helped me adjust to life with an ICD. Reading some of her posts made me laugh out loud.I wish that I had been able to meet her personally as I know some forum members did. R.I.P dear Eve.

I am saddened also as I have read many words of wisdom she wrote on this board. I also know she has been suffering for a while now and is now in peace. wavhi

I feel sad that Eve has gone, but I also feel a sense of relief. She really did it hard, both psychologically and physically in the past few years. She is at peace now and finally at rest. I know she will be looking down on us and saying 'It is over' and she probably still has a spiritual 'blabbermouth' with her.

Helen, Thank you for letting us know the sad news. May she rest in peace. I hope her family knows how much Eve meant to so many. While few of us may have ever met her, she touched us, helped us and did so much good.
