For me the Apple Watch is a fantastic tool.
Holy crapoly, I'm deeply impressed. I find it challenging to dial a phone number on my cellular. Took me 4 hours to download McAfee on my laptop yesterday and I think I killed it in spite of having tech support on the line the whole time. (I heard they all quit after dealing with me) Butt let me ask this...when you are done in the oval office, does the phone wipe for you?

It's unique to hear someone who makes full use of the capabilities of their technology, so many of us barely scratch the surface of it's applications.

Now that is a toilet.

The trouble would be that you would never want to get off of the thing. So much so that when you eventually did, you'd have such bad pins and needles, that you would fall over over and probably smash your nice new shiny expensive watch on the sink (or whatever they are called over the pond).

And would those watches be any better in terms of toilet time reading than a newspaper *. I'd suggest that to get the best out of one you would have to take it off which of course presents the risk of dropping it down the toilet.

The question is, would you reach in to retrieve it? I would flush my $10 Casio without a second thought but there again I wouldn't drop it down the toilet anyway as I wouldn't need to take it off as I'd be reading a newspaper instead of playing space invaders on my watch.

* reading a newspaper whilst on the throne is a time honoured British thing, that I would hope has made its way over to the US and Canada. I know the Aussies do it.

I have about 6 plain old watches sitting in a drawer. Can't remember the last time I actually wore one. But I am getting tempted with this new watch to part with $4-500 after reading Downeastter's summary of uses and just seeing a car commercial where some dude starts his car by touching his wrist. I'm guessing the watch doesn't come with a car.

I need to find out more, but the "help me I've fallen and haven't moved for a minute" feature is really catching my eye.

It has been known for very drunk people here at the pub to have a go at eating a urinal cake.

That is one cake that should never be eaten with icing (or frosting or whatever you call it over the pond) on it.

This "cake" you are talking about. Is that the 3" round white tasty wafer that sits in the urinal?

How did we stray from Apple watches to shingles virus? Oh wait, hold the phone (apple iphone of course). You guys are saying apples cause shingles...duh :duh:
Then we moved to urinals and cakes found within them?
lmao4dx
Guys, you're making it hard on me to be a moderator. How can I chastise you when I'm seriously lmao!
:duh:
So, unless anyone has anything related to Apple watches, let's calm this down.

So far the antiviral med is working... the "invisible rash" is still sensitive to the touch but no longer causing severe pain. The back pain is also milder today.
