A real talent there Robo, that needle in the first one looks like it may sting a little bit though!

Keep your chin up and carry on doing the good work.

You do know of course that the thing you really should be painting is a self portrait sans helmet.

Wow Robo, those are pretty impressive portraits. Must admit to being pretty dense on appreciating any difference that might exist between water color and oil. Look forward to seeing a side by side comparison so I can pick up on the subtleties that were obvious to a master like yourself.

Minor question. And this is not in any way to question the accuracy of your work, but didn't you say the doctor and his assistant were balding black Nigerians?

Wow! Beautiful work Robo!
That's a lot of detail for watercolor.
I love that the undertaker is across the street. Clever.

That's a long time to wait for the xray result.

They're going to be so happy when they get these!
I love all three! I don't think you should change the top one to oil...I say this only because I love it, but hey, you're the expert.
I hope today is a better day for you :big-hug:

Thanks guys. Deb, I haven't done an acrylic in a long time. I prefer graphite, charcoal, watercolor, gouache, or oils. Love oils but it's a lot of work cleaning up. What's your preferred medium?

So can you guys believe Jessica, my Nurse Practitioner has four boys, the eldest just graduated college? I swear I thought she was 14 when I met her 10 years ago. Great doctor. and Mark is totally devoted to ensuring his patients get optimal quality of life. I can't say enough good about that team, they're incredible and the reason I'm still here after 10+ years.

ROBO, I paint with acrylics on aluminum. What I do is grind a random design on the aluminum, paint with acrylic, then put 10-12 coats of urethane on the top. That pretty much makes it archival. I love what I do and feel very lucky to keep on doing it.
Did you get an xray today?

I don't know much about art... or anything else... but the students in my testing center admired your work. You do have a true talent, my friend.

what would you arrest me for, assault with a dead weapon?

Tip, I only have 122 paintings and drawings plus 7 in process in my personal inventory, so yeah I have a few. The cost of frames is killing me. Guess I should make the effort and sell some more.
