Yep, I'm still here, and probably will be for a while longer. I'm still trying to figure out the changes in our software.
Like, what's that lightning bolt for?

Still here and scanning posts every day. I just don't post very frequently. All is good with my ICD. No "therapies" post-ablation. Battery still charged up and the leaky heart valves don't seem to be getting worse.

Still a daily reader...waiting for the low battery beeps on my 8.5 year old CRT-D and helping my wife learn to love new left hip!
Diagnosed in May of 1998 with cardiomyopathy. At diagnosis my EF was around 12. Received my first defibrillator one month later. My EF has improved to 30 by echo. Now on my 3rd ICD this one is a CRT-D following an A/V node ablation in 2009. Over the years I've been shocked a total of 4 times.I take Entresto, Crestor, Coumadin, amiodarone (and have for years), Spironolactone, baby aspirin, and Coreg.

Hello,

I still look in on here quite often.

Having an ICD and finding this place is a bit like the line from the Eagles Hotel California...

Still alive, busy with many things except for ICD. Had 13th anniversity for my 2nd live last November 13. No events since ablitions 2010. Still looking what happend on this site, weekly more than daily: as Colin states: 'You can check out any time you like, but you can never leave' ...
My name is Gijs but in English you can call me Gilbert as this might be easier te remember :-)

I still log in every couple of weeks. Don't really have a lot to say. Got zapped cycling home from work a couple of weeks ago which I don't think was really warranted. So the driving ban got renewed not long after it had finally expired. It could have been fairly dangerous given that I was on a fairly busy road.

I’m here...I’ve talked with 3 different families whose loved one had open heart surgery last week..39 yr old, 42 yr old, elderly woman....I figure one out of the three will have an ICD soon..as always I’ll direct them to the site. This site means so much to me and my wife...we get a lot of info and support. Happy New Year.

Freckles, we wish you much comfort and more good days than bad...

I'm a bit late...hi Everyone wavhi

I'm doing well, but not feeling so great the past few days, feeling a bit achy and upset stomach. I'm not sick enough to stay home though, still going out in this freezing cold, to work.

I had a very nice Christmas, happy all my kids were home (my eldest had been away for the past two years, but she moved back in the spring).

I think fondly about many of you often. We've been through a lot together, I so appreciate all we shared, the support, understanding and friendship.

Happy New Year!! :xmasclap:

We all need to be aware that there is a virus or ?? going around that turns into the phenomena if it is not taken care of fast. We have had several friends who are now having phenomena or just getting over it. Not age related. SO TAKE CARE of yourself and EVERYONE.
