Re: My First Encounter with a Security Scanner

I was given a small pamphlet written in 13 different languages as well as a empty devise for explanations,if yo...

I empty my pockets in the little bowl and the guy says I can't bring my little pocket knife in.......now I'm upset OK I say and I'm off t...

Re: What a lousy week!

I think he wants the scans to make sure of what he's doing so he does nothing wrong.

A very wise move on his part and I would feel very confident in his hands.

Re: What a lousy week!

My problems are reoccurring simply because I was born with scoliosis, the football injury and I no longer have any gel between the bottom 4 disc of my spine. As a result,I go in for a chiropractic adjustment every few months and all is fine. It's worth a try or you could let the "hospital doctors" con...

I've had problems with my spine since a football injury back in the 70's and have problems like this,it has always been a pinched nerve in my case.

Re: Terrible news - forgive me for sharing...

This happened during the last World Cup......video link below where you can see him drop and the ICD bring him back Anthony Van Loo, a 20-year old soccer player (Roeselare Belgian first division) collapses during a match and is brought back to life by his Implantable Cardioverter Defibrillator (ICD)...

Re: Cardiac monitor vs ICD?

My ICDs main function is to record the actions of my heart but it can also pace me if it needs to and shock me if needed.

My thoughts are that if you're going to have something implanted it may as well do it all.

Re: Skater Brooke

It says a lot about a person when they take what's left of a torn and beaten heart and give it to a stranger.

I wear the full version show on this page.

They are a bit spendy but I've been thrown over the bars into a tree and had my KTM 300 slam into me and get up right with no pain at all.

Re: OT? Remote devices CAN be hacked

I've been tempted, more than once, to write it up as a script proposal for a crime show, but it occurred to me that the bad guys get into enough trouble without me egging them on... Sorry Ron - but the writers at NCIS have already beaten you to the punch. Season 9, Episode 17 (just last week). Abby...

Re: Weight lifting/push ups

Both my brother and I are heavy left dominate. Not saying I could not do it, but I'll probably be a worse shot...... A decent pair of shooting glasses with some tape over the left lens will force the other eye to take over. If shooting with your father is something you want to do......it can be don...
